Tokyo Day 2, Part II: Kiddy Land

IMG_0793 400x533

So as traditions go, any visitor to Tokyo must venture into Kiddy Land. Supposedly before the dawn of time, Kiddy Land has been in existence serving up toys to natives and foreigners a like. This multi-level toy store has something for everyone. I think this place had six large floors full of toys?

How about an entire floor dedicated to Peanuts?

One floor dedicated to American toys!

Of course, the obligatory Sanrio Floor!

Robotic bugs!

I was sorely tempted to get one of these. Palm size remote control helicopter made by Takara Tomy. Looks really cool...

They also have this giant Gundam in front that a girl was swatting what looked like a lightsabre at...

Of course, I had to give it a try....mine wasn't hooked up to the speaker. Thanks Scott for filming the geeky foreigner...

Great write-up on the trip... Kiddy Land is a definite must.

I am not allowed to own the Air Shock beam saber.
