This is kinda interesting. ELLE Photographer of the year Joel Lim is doing a show in Singapore at FLABSLAB GALLERYfeaturing hot models and your favorite designer toys including Secret Base, Ron English, Bearbricks, Ultraman and even Kozik's Mao..! I guess COOP has photographing chicks with toys for years so the trend isn't new. I could do this. Hit me up if you're a model who likes toys.

Kozik 36" RxH Mutant Evils On Sale!!

Kozik HP 36" Mutant Evils

These are three of the Kozik HP 36" Mutant Evils from the Billy Shire Fine Arts Show last year. They are 1/1 handpaint versions of this fiberglass monster made by Rommel in the Philipines. I have the production version and really like these guys too. They were $3,500, but if you email Amy@lulubelltoys.com maybe you can get a deal.

Frank Kozik "Hubri$" Solo show at Billy Shire Fine Arts

Frank Kozik Hubris Show

The always quotable Frank Kozik is doing a solo show at Billy Shire Fine Arts. Say what you want about Frank, but i've always found him to be a straight shooter. You always know where you stand with Frank. He says he's going to do something and it actually happens. Not many people can claim that. He got these 3' tall RxH Evils made. He got the Giant Maos made. He got the 3' tall Belchors and Bigazzalons made. He got the fucking 5' Salari Ikas made. He made it happen. Now he's painted them all up nice and pretty and selling them for a wad. Good for him. I like these Evils, but not gonna pay $3,500 for one. Makes me pretty happy with the black and gold one that I paid $600 for. Hell, he should be selling these for $5,000. Let's see you make some shit happen.

Frank Kozik @ SDCC 2009

Kozik @ SDCC 2009

What would SDCC be without Kozik? He just got married so he seemed to be in a better mood which is good. He's making these 5' tall Salary Ika's for $4,500 and I think some people will buy them cause they are so ridiculous. Frank notes that toy nerds won't be it, but maybe art dudes with too much money will. He also sold a bunch of these cast-iron rusty bananas for $2,800 too. Holy shit. Who are these people? Send them my way cause i've got a box of rusty nails for only $500. lol. Frank is awesome.

Kozik @ SDCC 2009

Giant Army Men. One thing about Frank. When he says he's gonna do some shit, he does it. Not too many people can say that. I remember when he was telling me about both the Giant Ika and the Giant Army Men last year.

New Toys I Like

evil123524737049a0610a2f8bb 400x533

Quick post on a smattering of newish toys I like. New Kabuki Evil above by RealxHead. I really like the face. The colors are garish and over the top, but that's ok with me. Rumor is that there will be a complete set of RxH figures in the "Kabuki" style. I say sweet!

Cometdebris is doing a fan-favorite colorway just for you! Apparently clear pink is the clear winner. There will be a bit of paint. Offered first to his mailing list so sign up!

These Kozik Bigazzalon and Belchor are painted so beautifully, it makes one think if Frank even painted them. If so, this could be some of his best work yet. I don't see any Anarchy signs or blood splatter so i'm not convinced.

We missed this little guy. Gargamel clear pink mini crouching zag. Released only in Japan? Oh, well. We like him here too.

36" RealxHead Mutant Evil by Kozik has landed!!!

Kozik 36 Inch Mutant Evil

It's been a long wait, but worth it. When Kozik wanted to produce a 3 foot tall RealxHead Mutant Evil, the prospect was just too awesome to turn down. There had been a couple of different colorways considered, but this one is unique and pretty awesome. I do wish that the arms were articulated so that it could hold up a tray or something. that would have been the best. Sculpted by Rommel in the Philippines, this guy kicks ass.
