When Cop A Squat Toys hit me up about doing a run of these, I immediately saw the potential in such a weird, and what I would consider to be, traditional looking character in the vein of Battling Kaiju via Ultra Man and vintage Sci-Fi...It just looks cool to me...Then when Adam Saul told me that He could silk screen a header, I thought the project could really be special...well, then I decided to stay home one day and hang out with my cats ( The Clone seemed sad), and draw the header, I kinda just started expanding on what I wanted to do until I had drawn a big dissected version of the Semi Korosiya so you could see the inner workings of the THING! I then sent it to Adam and we decided it should be a print...so what started as a simple run of these bad boys turned into a whole production with a print and incredible silk screen header as well...I painted them up over at Kozik's with V color and gave them an evil Black Iron Golem look with gold armor nubs and an evil all seeing eye...Im really proud of the way this colaboration turned out and anyone who is lucky enough to get one will have the print, the header ( which is a print in itself), and the bad ass toy...there are 10 of them and will be $225...They will go on sale thursday august 29th at noon pacific, I will mail them out that day! available on http://shopcriticalhit.com/products/semi-korosiyra

This is a commissioned piece for one of my most faithful customers, supporters and great friend. Leader Class Scale Megatron does not transform, but stands a towering 11" tall to the top of his head. A big thanks to RA88 for his rendition of Megatron and the inspiration. I based Megatron off movie stills combined with Josh Nizzi's Dark of the Moon concept artwork. Megatron is LOADED with details and articulation. Huge thanks to fakebuster for the shapeways 3d printed movie accurate shotgun and Megatron's right hand.

Megatron's articulation includes : ball jointed head, shoulders, upper arms (joint and swivel), elbows, forearm swivel, ball jointed wrist (right), double jointed fingers (right), ball joint wrist (left), claw fingers on hinges (left), hips, upper les swivel, kneeds, feet on giant strong ball joints, and toe articulation (yes...toe)

Megatron's eyes and head lights up brightly thanks to 2 3mm red LED bulbs which both lead to a simple on/off switch on his back, and easy-access battery right next to the switch. Megatron's shotgun fits snugly on his back and into a 5mm peg post in his right hand. His cloak was made using linen found at a nearby fabric store (they are worse than AC Moore & Michael's combined) tempered, cut up, and aged, then painted with many coats of clear coat which ensure it's form is kept (it's stiff!)

This is the second part of the commissioned Deadpool project. Deadpool now has a sporty and cool Power Wheels that transforms into an exo-suit. Deadpool fits in the cockpit up top and tears up his enemies even more easily than before. If Deadpool's going to go big, he's gonna go big with some style. The exo-suit has amazing articulation; right hand, wrist, shoulders, waist, elbows, hips, knees, feet and heels. His suit's left arm has an array of weapons that can easily be swapped in via a specially designed peg system thanks to Shapeways. Attachable : Axe, Plasma gun, Chainsaw, Medical circular saw, and flame thrower. Also, his exo-suit sports 2 magnetically held guns on the backs of his forearms. He also yields a giant pistol and harness under his right arm, which his right hand can blast with.

Transform this exo-suit, and Deadpool can hop into the Power Wheels Hummer (tm) The Power Wheels has detachable guns, realistic wear and tear and a great shine.

Playsam Custom Show at Super 7...!!

Had a great time at the Playsam 500 Custom Show at Super 7. 59 artists from around the globe customizing the iconic Playsam Streamliner wooden car. I was impressed with the variety and talent expressed on these cars. Part of the proceeds went to charity.
