Here are pics of my Peter R. x Alphahunter RAPTURE All Ti S90v folder. Only 30 made. This thing is a beast. The knife to rule all other folders. It's massive and overbuilt like a tank. I love the fuller design in the Ti scales and blade. I took the liberty of finishing it up a bit by hand rubbing the blade and taking some Scotch-Brite to the frame. It now has a warm, smooth finish that is almost buttery to the touch. Looking forward to more knives from Peter R. and Alphahunter for sure.
OAL 9 5/8ths inches
Blade 3.75 inches
3/16 s90v blades rc 61
Frames are 3/16 All Ti with a Jimped Ti Backspacer.
This is interesting and very well done by filmmaker Brett Novak. Set in an abandoned water park in the middle of the desert with this really hypnotic music track, it features skater Kilian Martin performing all these really unique tricks over this desolate landscape. Video from the park during it's hey day are super-imposed to give it this melancholy vibe.
nice, catchy, inspirational kind of song. You might hear it on some RomCom soundtrack or something. But i'm digging this crazy video. Producer / composer Jonathan Dagan aka j.viewz took 2,000 images and 300 fans to make this video. His team led by Director Shelly Carmel printed every frame of the video and handed images out to fans in the audience during a tour in Israel.
I love the art of Armand Baltazar. It's colorful, highly stylized alternate universe. Would like to see an animated short based on this story. Plus check out these mechs!!
Diego and the Steam-Pirates is a pulse-pounding adventure story taking place on an earth that has been extraordinarily changed by a time fragmentation and collision: layers of time from prehistory to the near-distant future have been mashed together. This is a world where dinosaurs have reappeared, where people and places all throughout earth’s history exist simultaneously, where pirate raiders, mysterious sea captains and their robots roam the vast inland seas in steam-driven ships. Master artist and storyteller Armand Baltazar takes you on an epic voyage to another world, mysteriously similar to our own.
REDFORD designed by Armand Baltazar and scratch built by John Duncan
ok, this is pretty cool and I would totally buy it. Actually probably two. At Disney's Hollywood Studios (in Florida, not Hollywood), you can build your very own Droid at the new Droid Factory. Taking any parts from the 71 different choices, you can make your Droid your way. They are in 3 3/4 scale so they fit with the rest of your Star Wars figures. Thousands and thousands of combinations. I especially like the special Disney hats you can purhase for your droid as well. Mickey ears, Goofy, etc. Cost is somewhere around $11.99 each and comes with re-usable clam shell packaging. Thanks for the heads up Henry!
How about illustrating classic Video Games scenes to look like the ancient art of Ukiyo or wood block printing? Artist Jed Henry does this and it looks awesome.
Check out the first BLObPUS Berotonian Jr. customs. I believe these will go on sale at "Pandemonium June" sale at One-Up on Friday, June 1st. These look great.
