3A x Halo Spartan Emile...!!!

3A x Halo Emile Spartan

I have to admit that when I saw this Halo Spartan Emile figure before, I was on the fence for some reason despite the fact that Emile is my favorite Halo character ever. Put a skull on it and i'm down. But after seeing these pictures of Emile and the exclusive variant, i'm a converted man and will have to pre-order this bad bady. Personally I like the non-exclusive edition with the skull helmet and red shoulder armor. Just awesome.

Square Enix SDCC 2012

Square Enix SDCC 2012

Square Enix is another must at SDCC. They make some pretty damn nice action figures and seem to be getting more detailed every year as evidenced by this Raiden figure above. I prefer the size as well. Not nearly as big as 1/6 scale, but large enough to offer incredible detail.

I believe the Batman license is new this year. Looking good, but with the new movie, there is soooo much Batman to go around.

Custom Mecha Sonic by Kodykoala

Mecha Sonic Custom by kodykoala
Mecha Sonic Custom by kodykoala

This custom Mecha Sonic by customizer Kodykoala is right up my alley. Not the biggest fan of Sonic, but I do like that he took a 10" vinyl toy and opened his head to make a cockpit for a smaller Sonic pilot. Great execution. Details are fantastic. I want this guy. Check out more of his customs on his site above.

From Kodykoala:
This is the first time that I have tried doing a Sonic the Hedgehog figure. It’s not that I have anything against Sonic, but the figures that are out right now are hard to work with. I found this Giant 90s style Sonic, and I new I had to turn him to a Mech. I used a 10 inch vinyl Sonic, a 2 inch Sonic figure, LEGO laptops, straight pins for the rivets, a Playmobil computer keyboard, and a piece from a Halo Ghost for the cockpit.

Portal: Terminal Velocity Fan-Made Short

Best fan made Portal Film ever? yeah, pretty much.

My interpretation of what a real POrtal gun would be like if one existed. Based on the video game, POrtal. I tried to match the game as close as possible. This was the most challenging project I have ever undertaken, consisting of 3D tracking, seamless camera cuts and 3D camera projection. ENJOY! The Visual Effects,

Leeeeerooooy Jennnnnnkiiiiiiinnnns..!!!

Hard to beat a good meme. As far as meme's go, Leroy Jenkins is a classic. Check this very professional short film above that pays tribute to good ol Leroy.

How about this "Year One" Homage featuring Vinnie Jones?

All the more funny when you see the original again.

E3: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Exclusive Trailer

Being a hardcore fan of MGS, i've been waiting for Metal Gear Rising for a while now. The gameplay looks extremely fluid and smacks a bit like Shinobi. One of my big concerns is gameplay variety. After all, how many mechs and enemies can one cut into tiny pieces? But since it's MGS, i'm not all the worried and this trailer does seem to exhibit quite a bit of variety.

E3: The Last of Us - Gameplay

"Last of Us" looks to be shaping up nicely. Developed by Naughty Dog who also did the "Uncharted" Series. Post apocalyptic survival at it's best. Although the idea of scavenging for a few bullets at a time does make me nervous. Much more hand-to-hand combat necessary.

Joel and Ellie are attempting to get to the bridge and out of the city. They are tourists in an area that's controlled by hunters. They are hunted and yet they too are hunters. Everyone is willing to do whatever it takes to survive. What you'll see here is something that we're calling Balance of Power AI. Enemies will react realistically to whatever situation your combat style forces them into. Playing as Joel, Ellie's help and whatever weapons you can scavenge are your best shot at progressing in this brutal, violent world.

The Last of Us is genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. Cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature. Remaining survivors are killing each other for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a young teenage girl who's braver and wiser beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States.

Developed by Naughty Dog, The Last of Us is being made exclusively for the PS3 system.

E3: Watch Dogs - Game Demo

This game looks promising. Set in Chicago in the not too distant future, The gimmick is being able to control what looks like any and all electronic devices, systems, etc. via your mobile phone. Hackerific...! The gunplay looks pretty good too.

A glimpse at the future with the first game demo video of Watch Dogs. Visit http://watchdogs.ubi.com for more info!
