Earth Wolf by Josh Herbolsheimer x Medicom - Super 7 13th Anniversary Lucky Bag Exclusive...!!!

I'm a huge fan of Josh Herbolsheimer. He's one of the coolest guys you could ever meet. Super chill and one of the best artists around. Translating his art into toys is never an easy task, but I think Earthwolf does a pretty good job. All the quirky details are there from the arrow sticking out of his torso to the leaves and branches on the right shoulder and especially the eye in the palm of the left hand!. It's a weird, lanky, awkward sculpt not unlike Josh's paintings.  the minimalist sprays with the masked details on the clear glitter vinyl is just superb. Unfortunately this particular version was only included in the Super 7 13th Anniversary Lucky Bags which are now sold out.

Super 7th 11th Anniversary Party Re-Cap...!!!

Saturday was Super 7's 11th Anniversary. I can't believe it's been 11 years. It's been 7 years since I first met Brian. Crazy how time flies. It was great to catch up with old friends, local Skullbrainers and S7 staff. They had three Skeeball games and Brian started up head-to-head tournament March Madness style. It was really fun and engaging and everyone was into it as the pace was fast and furious. Much more spectator sport than video games for example. Luke in the end emerged victorious...! Probably because he got to practice all day long.

Then there was the lucky bags. New Tao King colorway which was a nice surprise. Also a new pumpkin head for the Rose Vampire DX body was is pretty cool. Spotted some mini LEGO figures with S7 Mummy Boy and Rose Vampire heads. But the custom Vampire Cruizer painted by Josh was the hit of the night. Won by Jan and Len (2nd year in a row that they picked up a custom by Josh).

Happy Anniversary Super 7. Well done.
