RESTORE DEBRIS JAPAN Custom by toybot studios..!!!

RESTORE Debris Japan custom by toybot studios

I made the deadline today, but realized that RESTORE extended the contest until the end of October. Good to hear because it would be cool to see more entries..! my custom titled "DeathTrap" is an homage to Trapjaw, Deathlok and Hellboy. I shaved half his head and used epoxy sculpt to mold the cybernetic half of his head. Arm and shoulder from a DIY 3A Bertie.

Altelier G-1 x Alex Wald GARAKUTAGIGAS Fire and Storm Editions!!

GARAKUTAGIGAS by Alex Wald

Received my Fire and Storm versions of the Altelier G-1 GARAKUTAGIGAS designed and painted by renowned artist Alex Wald. I like the paint application. Nice, subtle, classic. The sculpt by Okuda-san of Altelier G-1 is amazing. The details. The fins on the back are unbelievable all by themselves.

Hot Toys Iron Monger up for Pre-Order

Iron Monger is pretty cool. 12" toy with tons of articulation. $479 puts it comparable to a Fewture EX-GOKIN toy. I think it's a fair comparison as the Iron Monger will be bigger, but less die-cast. I kind of want one. Pre-Order yours from Sideshow Toys. Estimated ship date 2nd Qtr 2012

Hot Toys is proud to present the 1:6th scale Iron Monger Collectible Figure from the movie Iron Man. The movie-accurate Iron Monger collectible is highly detailed, specially crafted based on the image in the film, highlighting a newly developed head sculpt of Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane, well equipped armor, light-up functions and weapons. Standing approximately 17.5 inches tall the Iron Monger Collectible figure makes a striking addition to any Iron Man display.

The Iron Monger 12 inch Figure features:
•Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Iron Monger, featuring the likeness of Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane in the Iron Man movie
•Approximately 17.5 inches tall
•Over 60 points of articulation
•Specially painted armor
•One (1) pair of palms with improved articulations, movable fingers and light-up repulsors (white light, battery operated)
•LED-lighted eyes and micro ARC reactor (white light, battery operated)
•Chest can be opened to reveal Obadiah Stanes head sculpt
•One (1) rotatable machine gun on right arm with LED-light
•One (1) mini-rocket launchers on left arm with LED-light
•One (1) cannon launcher on left shoulder
•Two (2) pairs of boot jets attachable to the back of armor on left and right legs for Flying Mode

ROGUEDZN Manlywear

ROGUEDZN Manlywear

I'll be the first to admit that the manlywear from ROGUEDZN looks like it might be found on the wrists of the guys on Jersey Shore, but I don't care. I still think it looks cool. Cheesy, but cool. One thing for certain, it's expensive. This piece called the Armadillo right here costs $30k and has like 10,000 parts or something. One aspect that's annoying is that they insist on putting the damn logo on every part. When you're spending this kind of money, less logo is better. But you cannot deny the cool factor. This shit makes Oakley watches look like a Timex.

Another bracelet, this is called the Breacher and will set you back $16k. Only 20 pieces made.

They have rings too. Pretty cool ones. But like $3,000. And their flag logo all over it. Wtf? Do they think the person that just dropped $3,000 on a titanium ring will forget where it came from?

RESTORE Debris Japan by ATOM

Here's an interesting entry to the RESTORE Debris Japan Custom Contest. Slightly naughty but whimsical custom by artist and toy maker ATOM. This one looks a bit hillbilly and comes complete with a removable nose and eyes and strategically placed flute.
