Toys I Want. The first is a custom Deathra by Martin Ontiveros that is too expensive for me. The second is a Mini Ojo Rojo designed by Martin and painted by Bwana Spoons that is sold. Both came from the "Sleep it Off" custom show at Thrashout recently.

Martin Ontiveros One-Off Mini Ojo Rojo

It could be the colors, it could be that it's an Ojo Rojo mini or it could be that it was painted in said colors by the designer of the Ojo Rojo character: Martin Ontiveros. While it is true that i'll try to buy any Ojo Rojo painted by Martin, this one in particular made me jump out of my chair and hit the panic button as it was on sale by whoever contacted Martin first. Martin Ontiveros HP Ojo Rojo and Series Painting Uno

First in a series of 6X6 Ojo paintings, where I will paint every colorway (and cool custom) produced so far, including Zombie Ojo. This may end up being a 15 to 20 piece print set... but I don't know yet.

Gargamel Production Figures for SDCC 2009

Gargamel certainly came to play this year. Not only did they have a full-blown custom event for Preview Night (stroke of genius), they came with a shit load of new production toys as well. Highlight for me is this awesome purple and grey Ojo Rojo. Contrary to what some may think, they could make Ojo Rojo in poop color and I would still buy it. The sculp and character is that strong. Martin rules. Kiyoka rules.



These Biskup handpaints were left over from Wednesday night. I normally would never pass up an opportunity to purchase a Biskup custom Pollard, but for some reason unknown to me, these guys didn't do it for me. I'm sure I will regret it later.

But then we get a matching crouching zag in SDCC 2008 colorway? Will match nicely with the full size and mini Zag in the same colorway.

Feast thine eyes on the best Zombie Ojo Rojo ever: Black Magic!!!! Designed by Martin Ontiveros and produced by Gargamel. I heard Martin chose this "Black Magic" colorway as well. I love it. Not only is it the best Zombie Ojo Rojo, it's probably my favorite production Ojo Rojo period.
