Doublethink by Takahiro Komuro x TAG painted by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore

Several years ago, I saw this picture of this Doublethink character in fiberglass with white hair by artist Takahiro Komuro . I think it was 3 or 4 foot tall. It was amazing and aside from wanting the original sculpture, I longed for a smaller vinyl version. Luckily Gino from Toy Art Gallery helped make this possible produced the Doublethink vinyl toy. A custom toy show was held at TAG and I was lucky enough to score this version painted by a good friend and amazing artist and toy designer in his own right, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore

MUTANT VINYL HARDCORE X SKINNER KRAWLUSS DOKURO KING EDITION

I've been a fan of Rich Montanari aka Mutant Vinyl Hardcore long before he was making toys. I've also been a fan of Skinner's long before he became a full-time artist. I believe I might have even helped them do their first collaboration together on a run of Ollies back in 2011. Day of the SKINNER. So to see both of them as world class artists doing their thing, making toys and art is just amazing and fulfilling. Both of them are such great guys. Which brings me to this beast. It's a collaboration between MVH and SKINNER called Krawluss. It's actually the first Krawluss I've had the fortunate opportunity to score and it's painted in my favorite homage to Dokuro King. Standing 14" tall with spikes, two heads, a sword, skulls, what is there not to like? Keep up the amazing work Rich and Skinner.

Ollie by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore painted by Martin Ontiveros - SDCC 2014

Martin Ontiveros is one of my favorite artists. So when I walked up to the "Tough Guys Only" booth at SDCC on Preview Night which consists of Bwana Spoons, Kiyoshi Nakazawa, Martin and the Gargamel crew, I was immediately drawn to this handpainted Ollie which is produced by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore. The colors were right and Martin's linework look amazing on this guy.  So this Ollie become the very first purchase at SDCC this year.  Thanks Martin..!!

Long time MVH friend and collector Grizlli Atom recently approached me with this amazing illustration he made of the MVH DX Characters. Ive been a huge fan of Kevin's illustrations and Tattoo work and was honored when he chose my characters for his newset project.

Ok so I'm thinking 15''w x 6''t, Heavy stock print. I'm thinking of 'hand aging' them to give them that shitty old comic print feel. But with a nice clear coat to keep them looking good. So all that said I'm thinking $25 plus $5 for shipping and fees. Sound good? I'm gonna keep the run small, 20 at MOST. if I don't get that many orders I'll limit the run to the number of orders.
