Martin Ontiveros is one of my favorite artists. So when I walked up to the "Tough Guys Only" booth at SDCC on Preview Night which consists of Bwana Spoons, Kiyoshi Nakazawa, Martin and the Gargamel crew, I was immediately drawn to this handpainted Ollie which is produced by Mutant Vinyl Hardcore. The colors were right and Martin's linework look amazing on this guy.  So this Ollie become the very first purchase at SDCC this year.  Thanks Martin..!!

Big Update at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore...!!!

In case you're too lazy to hit up Mutant Vinyl Hardcore, pertinent info listed here.

Pre-Orders will begin Friday 11/18/2011 at 5:00 PM and will end Sunday 11/20/2011 at 11:59 PM. This will give everyone more than 48 hours to get their order in.

In addition to this, there will be a chase version. The chase will have different color guts and will come with a half painted fade in MVH color scheme of purple, green black and red !!!

These guys will not be blind bagged, but inserted at random. So there is no guarantee what you will get, but you will get utter gut madness !

The price ... like usual its the good ol $150.00 plus shipping.

Both Doji San and the Death Sludgie have made it through the test pull process and unfortunately there where some bugs. The bugs are being solved and should be all set very soon. I really wanted to have these to everyone before December but that is definitely not going to happen. Im so sorry, but rest assured that the boxes are prepped and once they get to me they will all go out the same week !









Next up, the GID BLObPUS Enma !! Kaji San is at it again and for this Enma its gonna be on Glow vinyl !!! As of yet the price and release date is still to be decided. I believe he is looking for a mid December release.

Day of the SKINNER...!!

I had the chance to hang out with SKINNER and his buddy Hal at the Wizard's Lair the other day. I was there to check out the SKINNER x MVH "Oblivion Dudes" Ollies which will be a NYCC exclusive.

Here's a little video I put together featuring SKINNER's band UNGOLIANT single "Wretched Mind" For a guy that's not really into DOOM, I have to admit that I like this song. It's hypnotic. Check it out...



SKINNER is an amazing guy and it was awesome to hang out. He's spiritual, positive, geeky, talented, driven and a hustler. He built his home and massive studio/music room through a program for artists. If you haven't noticed, he seems to be everywhere these days doing art shows all around the planet. Most recently an epic show with Alex Pardee in LA called the "Butcher Kings" at Gallery 1988. After NYCC, he's headed to Cuba to hang with the Socialist Artists. He gets shit done that's for sure. Works very hard, but still has time and desire to volunteer to help out under priviledged children. Just hanging out for a few hours listening to him and Hal discuss all their current and upcoming projects was exhausting. He's got a full color art book coming out very soon too. Not to mention he just released his first fucking Doom/Rock album from his band UNGOLIANT. WTF? Dude's on fuego. I first met SKINNER a few years ago before he went full-time as an artist. I'm very impressed what he has done with his career since then.
