I just spotted these amazing sculptures by artist Takahiro Komuro. Aside from the awesome colorway and the obvious nod to the Two Headed Bemon complete with spikey ball and chain, his art has a whimsical feel. The monster's funky haircut, t-shirt and shorts and perhaps the Adidas clam shell sneakers? Standing an imposing 39.7" tall, this is one monster I would like to have in the house. It looks to be articulated as well.
Komuro mainly creates sculptures. The theme is about myths of today or future, which one can find in the relationship between problems of modern society-such as energy, nation, food, economy, natural disaster, and human rights-and fluid culture of today .
