One of the things I look forward to most about SDCC is the Sideshow Collectibles display. I think they outdid themselves this year. Why? The custom Stormtroopers. This mini show is worth the visit just by itself. Stormtroopers are one of the most iconic, beloved Sci-Fi character in the known Universe. When you make ridiculous customs out of them, you've just taken it one more louder to 11.
If the Stormtroopers customs were not enough for you, how about the A.M.P. Suit from James' Cameron's new movie "Avatar". Forgetaboutit. This thing is huge. I wanna say 20", but I could be off. No doubt this guy will be mortgage payment expensive.

I blogged about this Toys McCoys 1:6 scale Machinen Krieger M.A.F.S before, but this was the first time seeing it up close. It's very cool, but at over $1,000 if you can get it, I might invest my money with the Avatar A.M.P. Suit.
