Daaa-yaam. Greg and the guys from Mishka NYC with help from the prodigy L'amour Supreme are bringing all the heat to San Diego Comic Con!!! Above is the first production run of infamous "Bootleg Kaiju" produced by adfunture.
The Bootleg comes packaged with two heads (one of Cyco Simon, the other of a rotting bear Soviet super soldier) and was sculpted by Lamour Supreme. His packaging includes original header card artwork by Twerps! with help from Lamour Supreme and an insert with illustrations by The Creepy Touch host and all around dirt bag Toilet Cobra AKA Nick Gazin! It has a ridiculously low production run and is just the awesomest looking toy on earth!
A SDCC Exclusive Cure x Mishka Boogie Man (Great Garloo Colorway)! We based this colorway off of 60’s monster toy classic The Great Garloo! As with all Cure Toys Boogie Man releases, these things are ridiculously limited and will only be available at the Toy Tokyo booth at San Diego Comic Con. P.S. I don’t think you can see it but he has a little Simon head necklace!
SDCC Exclusive “V” Bootleg Kaiju!. That’s right people a “V” colorway of The Bootleg! We’re only producing 20 of these guys so they are not going to last! For those of you kiddies who don't know what "V" refers to, it was a TV Series in 1984 depicting the first Alien encounter. Damn, Greg. you guys are dating yourselves. I barely remember it!
Just to give you a sense of size, the Bootlegs are bigger than I thought. Almost 8 inches tall. Here is the original handpainted version L'amour Supreme painted next to a Mishka Boogieman.
