Check out my new favorite toy! Bigfoot XLR (Basquash). Based on the Anime, it's about this kid Dan who drives this giant robot based on a car and plays basketball. I'm mean seriously, how cool is that? I had seen protos of the toy at last year's SDCC, but never the finished produce in hand. Bandai really did a bang up job on this toy. I was concerned that it would be all plastic and fragile and wouldn't really stand all that great. It turns out that a decent portion is die-cast with some awesome articulation and engineering. The leg pistons actually work for example! It's a fairly solid toy and I definitely wouldn't mind getting the next few versions on my desktop!
