Alternative Location for Clockwork Orange for Sale

Modern House for Sale in SF

One of our favorite things to do on Sunday afternoons is tour open houses in our neighborhood. It's fun to see what's for sale and to keep a tab on market values in the 'hood. The other weekend, we saw probably one of the most unique houses i've ever seen. It was a very modern home built in 1991 by a German architect. The house was huge and have five levels. It just kept on going up. There was probably at least three or four decks with amazing city views. Only three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Probably around 3,000 square feet. Glass everywhere as you can see. All of the fixtures were very modern, but in that dated kind of way. Very 80's. The backside of the house had these rock wall all the way up the building. Kind of like an the house was built right on the side of the slope. Very odd like you're living inside a giant terrarium. Worse, supposedly there was a water feature where water would run down the face of this rock wall all the way from the top of the building to the bottom creating streams and waterfalls inside the house. I was too terrified to ask them to turn it on. The house needed a lot of work but too many levels and not enough bed rooms for us. It was listed for $1.2M and they were anxious to make a deal. It would have made for the perfect location for a scene in "A Clockwork Orange"
