Hey everyone! Things have been a little quiet on the newsletter front lately, but rest assured we've been plenty busy! Here's a few past and upcoming highlights to catch you up to speed (warning, lots of pictures!):
First up, we released a small MONSTREHEROxMISHKA exclusive MYSTERIOUS APE edition to celebrate MISHKA's Echo Park store opening (sold there as well). The infamous L'amour Supreme and Twerps! made a bad-ass header card.
We sent a small (literally) edition of Minivictims to Japan recently for Wonderfest. These little guys were cast in a lustrous green/gold pearlescent resin that's become a bit of a favorite here at MH Central.
We've also got quite a few new projects coming up fast. First up is a Super7 exclusive Mysterious Ape edition. These gnarly simians are cast in glow resin and feature plenty of fluorescent sprays. They'll be available this upcoming Saturday (March 20) through Super7 (both in-store and web). Josh Herbolsheimer will be providing the header art!
Next up are our two Wondercon 2010 exclusives. Neon Monster is getting a special set of every full-size Victim made to date, including the brand-new Victim #3! These will be available at their booth during the show.
Lulubell Toys is another awesome retailer that we enjoy working with (check them out right now for some hard-to-find MH one-offs!). We're teaming up with Lulu to release a super awesome, super sparkly edition of Skullminions that will debut at Wondercon. Sean will be chilling at their booth Saturday so come say hi! Here's a sneak peak of the Sparkleminion:
And lastly, here are two releases that are coming very soon to the MONSTRESHOP. We have a small edition of Mini-victims that we've dubbed the Glow Gang. They, you guessed it, GLOW, and they'll make excellent companions to the Super7 Mysterious Ape (they even sort of fit it his hands!)
We're also very, very close to releasing our newest sculpt, the Victim #3! Like our previous Victims, slimy #3 features a happy fun action accessory, this time a big pile of removable sludgey garbage! As per tradition, the first release of #3 will consist of various unpainted one-offs in awesome colors and finishes.
Damn, all I have to say is Sean/Cliff are trickin like $2 ho's...! Great stuff here....!!
