Who doesn't love finger puppets? Everyone does. The omnipresent Datadub from Fig-Lab is producing an all-star roster of artists for his latest venture: Finger Five..! Taking designs from Paul Kaiju, Suckadelic, MonstreHero, Onell Design and L'amour Supreme and making them into tiny one-piece vinyl goodness. Usually less than two inches tall and meant to fit on your finger tips...! More info soon...!

MonstreHero and Uh Oh Toys at SDCC 2011...!!!

I'm always stoked to see Sean from MonstreHero and Aaron from Uh Oh Toys. Missed you Cliff...! These guys make resin toys and have been an inspiration to many of us that want to make toys. I like MonstreHero's original toys, but I also like the collaborations with other toys, especially their latest with Onell. Sean and Cliff will make new heads and weapons for the Glyos figures and re-paint them. In this case, it's a preview for an upcoming set featuring one of these Glyos customs and their own Ememgon Crystal Monster designed by Connell.











Aaron has this new, yet-to-be named "Buffalo Dino" figure which I think is really interesting. But really, it's a Minotaur. seven points of articulation (if you include the horns), this was not an easy resin toy to make.

I have to say the most amazing customs of the Ilanena 10th Anniversary Dai Kaiju Card Monsters Show were crafted by Ralph Niese aka Bruno Orbit. He took each monster and made a tiny diorama. Keep in mind that these toys are only 3 inches tall so the detail is incredible. My favorite is the Kaiju Wrestler on a coffee break below. Priceless..!

Tattoo Royale Guf and Milton. MonstreHero Cliff with Skinner (not necessarily named after the artist Skinner, but more of a X-Files thing) and if you understood any of that, you're a nerd.

The Toxic Catalyst Show was Saturday night. Curated by the Resin Power Duo MonstreHero and hosted at our very own Super7. I was really blown away by the volume and variety of amazing resin pieces. Although many would consider these "garage toys" and i'm sure most of them were made amongst toxic clouds in their garage, the level of detail and artistry puts these figures on the same level as anything i've seen. If you haven't guessed, resin has arrived.
