Customized a couple of small Gargamel figures recently. The Ojo Rojo which is a character from the mind's eye of artist Martin Ontiveros has to be one of my favorite toys right now. The sculp was masterfully executed by Kyoka Ikeda of Gargamel and as you can see, it's a lot of detail packed in a tiny 3" inch tall figure. Martin and Kyoka, you guys rule!! More colorways of Ojo Rojo please!!
The Crying Thrashman was for a friend Scott on Skullbrain . I never really liked this figure all that much before for some reason, but I always liked the detail on the body. When I painted it and highlighted the detail, I have found a new appreciation for this figure and now I want to paint one for myself!! I messed up the eye so I made him Crying Thrashman ala Crying Freedom. He cries when he kills you...cause he cares.
