Mezco "Defenders of the Dragon" Mini Figure Review

This post courtesy from our buddies over at the legendary Eternal Collector Reviews. Mezco is continuing is entre into the mini figure market with the upcoming "Defenders of the Dragon" line which pits three varied ninja against three interesting Samurai mini figure characters. Mezco mini figures are slightly bigger than their doppelganger Kubricks - presumably to fit into the bigger, fatter, grubbier and sweatier hands of the typical american toy collector.

The ninjas are whatever, but I do like the three samurai figures especially the guy with the big sword, Noh mask and red hair. Right now, you can only pre-order them directly from the Mezco Online Store for $16 which includes either a 3-pack of ninjas or a 3-pack of samurais! Do what I did and pre-order the cool samurai figures!

As you can see in the pictures, each figure comes with an ginsu assortment of swords, knives, nun-chucks, spears and tsais. I also really like the details on the removable helmets and masks. Very cool and sure to make it in my stocking for Christmas!

The review was written by the Siskel and Ebert of the toy world: Michael Crawford aka Toy Captain. Check out his toy review of the week!
