The Marusan TDRS or TEDEROS (Terrestrial Defense Robot Squadron) line is one of the more overlooked line of toys. I'm not sure why as these vinyl toys are awesome in every way. I believe Marusan wanted a line of human based toys that would combat their popular line of kaiju and this is what they came up with. Made of vinyl, but they are painted with such detail, they could be mistaken for die-cast toys. See the cockpit pictures. I found these on eBay recently for only $29.00 each which is a bargain in my book. Nods to ToadLickr for re-invigorating my interest in these awesome toys.
