For me, a stop at Sideshow Toys at SDCC is a must. Hell, you can't miss it so why not stop by? It's like going to Vegas. You have to stop at Ceasar's Palace, right? The displays of these maquettes are pure toy porn so to speak. These statues seem to get bigger and bigger each year. 1:1 is not uncommon to see. Before long, we will have super size scale...! While lovely as they are, they are not toys. You can't play with them. Also they take up a ton of real estate so not sure how one would display them all. But I'm sure the hardcore find a way...
