Marusan TEDEROS Vehicles...!!

The Marusan TDRS or TEDEROS (Terrestrial Defense Robot Squadron) line is one of the more overlooked line of toys. I'm not sure why as these vinyl toys are awesome in every way. I believe Marusan wanted a line of human based toys that would combat their popular line of kaiju and this is what they came up with. Made of vinyl, but they are painted with such detail, they could be mistaken for die-cast toys. See the cockpit pictures. I found these on eBay recently for only $29.00 each which is a bargain in my book. Nods to ToadLickr for re-invigorating my interest in these awesome toys.

Marusan TEDEROS 07 Re-Issue...!

I heard Marusan is going to re-issue TEDEROS 07 Gorila which would be awesome. Coming unpainted army green above? Too bad. I would have like to seen a variant on the OG paint application below.

New Marusan Clear Tinsel Grand King!!!

Super7 has the new Marusan Grand King up for Pre-Order right now. I like it a lot, but sort of wish it had a bit more color to it. I dug up these pics of the clear red version I have and was contemplating trading. Luckily the Tradee didn't want it. Looking at these pics, not sure what I was thinking trading him...Mechanized giant monsters are cool.

Marusan Pigmon!!!

Marusan has been doing these beautiful clear vinyl paint applications with these irridescent foils inside. The combination is amazing. The first is this blue Pigmon which I knew I wanted the first time I saw a picture of it at an earlier toy show in Japan. Next up will be a clear orange Baltan. This is a big step for me as I haven't collected more traditional Kaiju before and this is actually my first Pigmon or Garamon.... I can't tell which. It's a double violation because he's a standard 9" figure which doesn't really fit into my collection. Who knows, maybe this is the early days of my traditional kaiju collection...lol...!!
