SKINNER - The Fragile Art of Existence Solo Show @ Shooting Gallery

SKINNER Fragile Art of Existence Show

The SKINNER show was a blast. Good to catch up with friends post SDCC. SKINNER himself was mobbed by his enthusiastic fans. It was a great turn out. The show was packed. I like the installation. SKINNER painted the walls a bit sort of background behind each painting. I like this new direction with his painting. His work seems more ethereal. Fewer hard edged geometrics and more wispy, airiness going on while still maintaining the appropriate amount of head-banging rage. Pieces ranged in the $2,500 area. I have a feeling SKINNER is going to be one of those artists that we all say, damn... could have had an original for $2,500 a few years ago. Now look at him....
