I've always, always loved the appearance of Le Mans type race cars. I think they are the most beautiful type of race car. I still haven't figured out why Nascar is so popular. This photo essay from Gear Patrol is wonderful. It's interesting to see these cars on cobblestone streets of NYC...

8pm, 78 Greene Street | In celebration of the Northeast Grand Prix Lime Rock, bespoke clothier Seize sur Vingt hosted the teams and cars from the American Le Mans Series. Of course, if the juxtaposition of a rare Porsche engineered Lola race car millimeters above a New York cobblestone street isn’t exceptional enough for you, also in attendance were a Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari California, Ford GT, Aston Martin DB4 and a white on white 1987 Turbo Esprit Lotus.
