Jason Jagel 'Chronicle' Print
In conjunction with Jason Jagel's show at FIFTY24SF, Upper Playground and Pata de Perro Studio are releasing a special Intaglio and Wood Block print of Jason Jagel’s “Chronicle” painting. Intaglio printing is an intricate and specialized printing process wherein the lines of a painting are hand etched into a printing plate. Afterwards, the grooves are filled with ink and a piece of paper is compressed against the plate and the ink is transferred to the paper. The “Chronicle” print is hand crafted at the Pata de Perro Studio in Oaxaca, Mexico using this process. The print is limited to a quantity of 50 and can be purchased for $200 at the Upper Playground online store.
