I rank Ip Man in my top five all time great martial arts movies. It's superb. Ip Man 2 is being released to much fanfare in Hong Kong at the end of April. I'm afraid that it's not going to be as good as the first. Without the Japanese, the tension based on the trailer seems to be in the other Chinese Masters in Hong Kong accepting him. Then the western boxer and thoughts of Jet Li's "Hero" comes to mind. ugh... but I remain optimistic...
