SD (Super Deformed) Gundams have been around forever. In fact, back in 1990 when visiting Hong Kong, when of the first kits I purchased were two SD robots. They are usually pretty in-expensive and contrary to the Master Grade kits, only contain a few simple pieces to put together.
But these new SDX Gundams are different. They are not kits. More like action figures and made partially out of die-cast. Think Super Deformed Fix Figuration toys? These guys are not cheap either at close to $50 each. But they sport all kinds of accessories and like Fix Figuration, usually have some kind of gimmick be it extra armor or something.
