Custom LEGO UM-5 War Doll Combat Hardsuit

I first spied this LEGO Mech on ESP Visuals and thought it was sooo cool that I wanted to buy the kit and stick it on my desk. A bit disappointed to learn it's a custom, but happy to learn about these die-hard LEGO MOC guys.

Like you, i've played with the ubiqitous LEGO's growing up. But unlike some of these dudes like Brian Kescenovitz at MOC Pages, I totally sucked at making anything remotely cool. "MOC" stands for "My Own Creation" and these hardcore LEGO dudes can make pretty much anything out of them little bricks. Insanely cool. Take Brian's creation UM-5 War Doll Combat Hardsuit: "Inspired in varying degrees by the VS suits from Lost Planet, the REV-6 from F.E.A.R., and MaK.". Each and every one of these parts exist somewhere in the LEGO Universe. I guess part of the fun (and challenge) is to figure out how to make your own version that looks nearly as cool and not some messed up Frankenstein with different colored bricks and shit...
