Brooklyn Fashionistas and Toy addicts Mishka NYC were asked to put together a Top 10 Kaiju list of 2008for Format Magazine. Japanese vinyl toys that made the list include the currently uber popular, but very quickly growing army of Toygraph Space Troopers. My current favorite toy also made the list which is Gargamel's Ojo Rojo designed by the insanely (and possibly insane) Martin Ontiveros. The legendary Two-Headed Bemon that has been spotted in the wild by yours truly only once. Not for Sale unfortunately. I like it, but if I had more than six in different colorways for $100 each, I would probably have my fill. Finally, Although I argued that the EXOHEAD x Skull Toys x toybot studios Skullrex Set was not a new toy for 2008 and that there were so many other rad toys to put on the Top 10 List, Greg from Mishka held firm: "yeah, but I just like it." Cool. Thank You.
