Saturday was Super7's Anniversary Party celebrating 3 years in retail and 6 years for the magazine. Bigger news is the mysterious "Lucky Bag" which is a Japanese tradition to purchase a bag of stuff sight unseen. We knew there was going to be two new painted ghost fighters, but more important, four completely new toys.

It was an interesting scene as you paid for the Lucky Bag at the register and then went to the back of the store where you showed Isaac, who was behind the red velvet rope, your receipt which is when he barked out the order to one of the "toy runners" in back: "Large Lucky Bag!!" In my case, the ever-smiling Joe Bunny brought up my bag which I took over to the corner where the rest of the Skullbrain boardmembers were ripping open their bags to check out the goods.

I quickly noticed the Secret Base Ghostfighters which were completely new colorways. I have to say the best two colorways ever produced. The clear dark blue/purple with light green gloves blew me away. The clear dark red/orange Ghostfighter did not disappoint either. Both amazing figures and completely validated my choice to go with the Large Lucky Bag all by itself.

But the real news is that the brand new toys part of the Lucky Bag, are just the beginning of Super 7's line of original vinyl toys!! The four mini figures are part of an upcoming series called GHOSTLAND! Each of the figures is a ghost forever tormented by the trait that caused their downfall.

What's next? Included in the lucky bag is a teaser print showing off the all-new, original Super 7 fight figures!! Brian with Glenn and Lisa is showing there will be four to begin including an elephant figure called "Stomp", as well as "Spike", "Squirm" and "Shard". They are looking cool and I can hardly wait to start collecting these too!!

I'm sooo tempted! Had a bag in my shopping cart last night.
Postage is somewhat harsh, but I think I'm gonna have to go for it.

Would I get some in the small mystery bag?
