Our apologies if you haven't been able to reach toybot studios over the last few days. Blogger has been dealing with growing pains and upgrading software and hardware to meet the demands of all the fervent bloggers out there. There were times that Blogger was down or you couldn't publish or upload photos and judging by the User Group message boards, I swear they were forming a lynch mob outside the Blogger offices and data centers. I mean people were PISSED. On the one hand, it is a free service, on the other hand so is Google which owns Blogger and you NEVER, EVER see Google going down. I think what we need is some of those engineers from Google going down to Blogger and showing these guys a thing or two about the "five nines" That's geek speak for 99.999% uptime. At the very least, buy us some more servers!!
Anyhooo, I'm pleased to announce that I have finally found the time to re-stock toybot studios eBay. It takes longer than you would think to put up those damn listings even when you do choose "add a similar listing". I've added something like thirteen (13) new listings exclusively from the absolutely amazing and incredibly detailed Bandai S.I.C. Takumi Damashii trading figure series Vol. 4 & 7. In Vol. 4, I put together two sets which include the outrageously beautiful yellow Kikaider motorcyle and sidecar. You also get his robotic girlfriend with the crazy harp. This set also comes in the white variant colorway as well. The other standout in Vol. 4 is the incredible blue Inazuman with his moth-like wings metamorphing from a translucent orange humanoid figure. This also comes in the white paint variant. I only have one of each so better hurry over to eBay and check it out!
I have been most impressed with the latest in the Takumi Damashii series - Vol. 7 which includes my favorite Robocon which comes with extra parts to allow you to transform it into Car mode. This amazing figure comes in either a candy-apple red metallic paint or silver paint variant. Again, I only have one of each left. Another awesome set I put together is Masked Rider Black with his grasshopper motorcycle. Incredible insect detail! I have one Masked Rider Black on a matching black grasshopper dirt bike and one Masked Rider Black on a lucious green metallic grasshopper dirt bike. Both are amazing and I only have two sets! Lastly are two Masked Rider Ryuga figures with their signature dragons overhead. Mind-blowing detail in the sculp and paint jobs. I have one figure in the ultra-impossible-to-find black and silver paint variant and one figure in the equally forgetta-bout it translucent purple variant.
