Legendary artist Frank Franzetta died yesterday at the age of 82 from a stroke at his home in Fort Myers, Florida. For me, Frank's artwork is the definition of Conan the Barbarian. I can't think of another artist that has single-handedly defined the dark and violent but strangely erotic fantasy world that Mr. Frazetta has.

This is a sad loss of such a wonderful and unique artist. I am shocked at this news, as I had just been admiring some of his painting the other day. At least we have some great to remember him by RIP Frank.
