Toy Photography From Around the World

Just so you don't think I don't appreciate great toy photography from around the world, i'm dedicating this post to some of the great toy photographers I have had the pleasure to come across on the web and the photo site Flickr. We start with Kelvin Tan from Malaysia. One of his photos is above. It's good enough to make me go out and buy the SIC Hakaider and Motorcycle shown. Great sense of composition, and lighting.

It would be very difficult to showcase toy photographers without mentioning Tim Brisko. He is THE toy photographer in the industry and has pretty the industry icon. I have been an avid fan of his work for years now and as you can see, his photography is breathe taking.

There are a number of great photographers on Flickr as well. Starting with one of my favorites, QuattroVageena from Japan. His work is close to my heart as he loves Gundam as well!

Next up from Flickr, we have KC Fang from Taiwan and his great shot of Hakaider and Motorcycle below.

Another favorite would have to be Tomii Boy from Japan. He still won't tell me how he creates the sense of motion in these fabulous Evangelion Shots!

Finally, we end with BMC out of LA, California who spent a lot of time and effort to take this next shot recreating a scene from Grand Theft Auto. If you hit the link above, he shows you pictures of the whole photoshoot. Very cool!

So there you have it, some of the coolest toy photography on the web!

Great blog... I'm kind of a newbie toy collector myself though I only collect DC Direct's World of Warcraft Figures...

I post unboxing and impressions every week among other things of interest... I'll be linking to your blog when I find something interesting... thanks!
