Check out a preview of this upcoming toy from longtime collector, internetz webmeister and first-time toy designer Justin Jewett, aka Hateball. It looks like a mutant, multi-eyed devil's goat. Designed by Justin with help from artist Brian Ewing, sculpted by Siccaluna Koubo and produced by Luke and Ricki (Grody Shogun and Velocitron). I've seen this guy in hand and have to say it's pretty awesome. It has an interesting and subtle colorway with a black rub that works well together. The paint application definitely allows the sculpt to stand out.

A very small handful landed just in the nick of time for SDCC, which was the first time the figure has been seen since it's creation! For those of you catching up on the fantastical upcoming SKINNER x Siccaluna x Lulubell vinyl toy, there will be NO BUST for now. Instead a full figure 10-11" TOY..!! Even better, here is the latest latest news on the PRE-SALE packages offered on April 27th...!!!



The quest has unfolded. The journey moves forward. Skinner x Siccaluna x Lulubell have teamed up to release Skinner's first vinyl toy! 10" of insanely detailed sculpting by master sculptor Siccaluna of Japan & an exclusive t-shirt to celebrate the project are all coming forth exclusively in package pre-orders.

Starting on Wednesday, 4.27 at Noon Pacific on the Lulubell home page, 4 exclusive pre-order packages will be available:









Fine print: Limited numbers of each package are available for pre-sale. The prototype & Siccaluna handpainted one-offs will ONLY be available in these pre-order packages, and will not be offered again.

First 2 versions & shirts will begin shipping in approx. 6 to 8 weeks from pre-order. Other versions will ship out upon arrival.

Just Say NO to Busts...!!

Interesting turn of events on the SKINNER x Shikaruna x Lulubell Toys Collaboration about to be revealed any day. Apparently via emails and posts, there is wild confusion as to what this collaboration will really be? Toy or Bust?

Luke who is producing the toy says it's going to be a standard 9" figure sculpted by the masters at Shikaruna (Siccaluna). SKINNER who designed the toys says they agreed in writing to make a 3-piece Bust that may have the possibility of transforming ala Voltron style to a giant Kaiju figure.

What do I think? Well it doesn't make business sense for Luke to completely disregard SKINNER's wishes and make something he didn't agree to make. On the other hand, Busts 3-piece or otherwise completely SUCK. Who buys busts? Comic Book collectors do. Toy Collectors do not. So perhaps Luke knowing his audience decided to do what is best for SKINNER's toy and make it a standard 9" figure and ask for forgiveness later. By then, SKINNER's toy will be such a huge success that all this silly talk about a stupid bust will be forgotten.

SKINNER, I love you man but Busts are lame. Toys are cool.

looking at teaser #2 again this morning, i'm still stuck with the feeling i know this shape... so pulled my SKULLY-OSIS mini print from zero friends off the wall & well, the head looks pretty dead on.... what do you think?

I'd say it looks pretty damn right on. down to the dude's tiny legs hanging out of his mouth
