When I first spied this custom Rebel Ink by Leecifer, I jumped out of my chair and fired off an email then a phone call to Lee asking if it was for sale. Of course it wasn't but I gave it a try. This Rebel Ink produced by Secret Base and designed by Usugrow is probably one of my favorite customs that Lee has produced. We have a couple of these tonight! Lee is an artist / graphic designer / illustrator, etc. who is one of the best of using a toy as a canvas. He literally paints his paintings on toys. The result is often whimsical and it fits many toys well. I prefer when Lee just paints a toy and doesn't illustrate it. Personally I just think it looks cooler on some toys. This Rebel Ink looks rough and tough like it's got a ton of texture and weathering. Wonderful stuff.
