Gargamel June Releases!!

Here are the June Gargamel releases which include a Zombie Ojo Rojo in a beautiful purple and green colorway designed by Martin Ontiveros himself. Most definitely the best zombie Ojo Rojo yet....!





Then we have a mini zag in clear orange vinyl with red and green spray. wonderful. What Zag collector can resist? none.







Last but not least, Le Merde Bangal. Not my favorite colorway, but I like the sculp...

New Batch of Gargamel Goodness!!!

man, lot of great new toys streaming out right now. hard to keep up and a beating to the wallet!! Latest Gargamel dropped last week. Had to pick up the Devilman Ojo Rojo and the Zag mini tank, but sadly could not pull the trigger on the mini Dragamel.... too much good stuf...

Gargamel New Ojo Rojo and Mini Zag!!!

Gargamel just announced two new releases slated for March 30th. The first is a production painted Ojo Rojo designed by Martin Ontiveros. Boy is this guy green. It's very striking....but very green. Jolly Green Giant green. Nonetheless, I love it. It definitely looks like something Martin would paint. My only suggestion to Gargamel is to make enough to satisfy demand. I seriously am still recovering from the nervous breakdown I suffered when the clear Ojo Rojo and subsequent custom Ojo Rojos were released.







Second up is this blue, gold and black Mini Zag. Can't go wrong with this colorway....c'mon!!!

It's a bit hard to tell from these photo's, but although it looks like gold paint, it's actually Gargamel's suspended aluminum flake inside clear yellow/gold vinyl. It's quite beautiful up close.

Beyond Hypothermia Custom Gargamel Mini Zag

Had an extra blank Gargamel Mini Zag lying around so I thought I would give it the treatment. Originally I was going to match the colorway on the RxH Blue Ryusei Ninja, but when I tried it out, it just didn't look right. I just wasn't feeling the red and black for some reason. So I just went for more blue. I took the blue one more level...

Beyond Hypothermia is an awesome Hong Kong action flick featuring a bad-ass female assassin that gets caught up in a gang war. Worthwhile checking out.... What does this have to do with a mini zag? absolutely nothing. The zag looks frozen and so this movie title came to mind.



Another interesting sidenote is that I dig the way the eye came out. but it was really a result of an accident. While I was using a paint pen to color the eye red, I pushed on it too hard and the paint flooded out filling up the entire eye socket and spilling just a bit on both sides. I thought it looked cool, so I let it dry and then used a little gold frost to highlight the center.

Gargamel Clear Mini Zag!!

Got this little beauty recently and I have to say it's prolly the best looking Gargamel Mini Zag ever produced. It matches what one collector called "The Zag dreams are made of" referring to the SDCC07 full size Zag which is indeed very beautiful. Comes with an insert on the header card you can cut out and insert. Looks rad either way....

Gargamel Mini Zag and Dragamel Arrive at Super 7 !!!!

The latest from Gargamel arrives at Super7 tommorrow, Saturday at 11am. Come one, come all, get your clear mini zag to match your SDCC 2007 full size zag cause they won't last long!! Comes complete with paper insert guts. One of the very best mini zags ever IMO....





Also on the menu is this crazy "Burning" full size Dragamel. I like it, but where is the matching mini dragamel??

New Gargamel Dragamel and Mini Zag!!

Ohhhhh, man...!!! In the next batch of Gargamel to hit the shores in a couple of months, we have two new colorways of some interesting toys. Starting with the obvious, a matching clear mini zag to the SDCC and Thrashout 3rd Anniversary standard zag. This is gonna make the kiddies go krazy!! Looks like it will come with an insert too! Rad! Then we have a very interesting and cool pink/red colorway for the large Dragamel. I like it, but I want it in the mini dragamel format.









What about this Rumble Monsters x Gargamel Mini Damnedron to match your 3rd Anniversary full size Damnedron? Gotta be crazy not to cop this....
