Here is the latest KAWS figure: JOE KAWS. What do you think? Some toy collectors are giving this release a critical eye. I can see why. For $240, it does seem un-inspired. But is it anymore than the KAWS Pinocchio which was received with much praise? Does it have anything to do with the fact that many a generation that has grown up with Peanuts have been inundated with Snoopy toys and cringe at the thought of paying $240 for essentially the same toy but with X's over the eyes? Personally I would have liked to see something different. Maybe Snoopy Flying Ace with a skull head and X's on top of his dog house? Or is because i'm really looking forward to the David Flores x hellfire Deathead? I don't know... I get it.... Joe KAWS cool with sunglasses. Maybe he should have the same pose leaning against the dog house.
