CM's Corp Brave Gokin 13 Mospeada Cyclone!!

Holy Cyclones, Scott Bernard!! Did the Mospeada license go on sale this year? Did Gakken's exclusive expire or something? CM's Corp hop on the Mospeada Cyclone-wagon is the third version announced this year. Not that i'm complaining, but that's a lot of Cyclones, yo. First we have the Toynami version. Then we had the Megahouse version and now we have the CM's Corp version here. I gotta say i'm torn. It's really hard to tell with just pictures, but I might like the CM's Corp version the least based on the pics. The color looks wrong for one thing and it looks kinda cheap with all the exposed screws. Although it's a bit less expensive that it's cousins at around $50, i'm not sure you're really saving any money....

hmmmmmmm, very tricky. I already pre-ordered the Toynami version, but looking at them all together, the Megahouse one is looking pretty good! Sorry CM's Corp....

CM's Corp Testa Rossa Ver. 2 Metallic Finish!!

Patience is one attribute that I don't possess enough of. But witness the one rare occassion that it paid off for me. Waaay back in June, I thought my prayers to the toy gods had been answered when I found out that one of my favorite Votoms mechs, the venerable Blue Knight Beserga Testa Rossa was being realized in all it's action figure mightiness. Still, as much as I wanted to hit the "Pre-Order" button, something didn't sit well...I wasn't crazy about the shade of blue. Yes, it's blue so that should be enough I realize, but I wanted a metallic blue. Knowing that CM's Corp had released other Votoms mechs in a matte finish first, then re-released the same figure in a special, limited edition metallic finish, I waited and hoped. Months later, I was writing another mech-head, Vombie about my hopes with the Metallic Testa Rossa and he wrote back saying it was up for Pre-order at Hobby Link Japan!! Stoked!!!

Touma Exhibition at Mixi-Bang!!!

Sadly, I was not able to make the Touma Show at Mixi-Bang in Pasadena a couple of weeks ago, but lucky enough to catch a few of the left over figures and the exhibit itself while down in LA visiting family for Thanksgiving. I guess i'm thankful for that!











It was a pretty serious show as not only was there at least five production toys available: (Pink and Orange Mao Cat, Clear Blue Skuttle X and Touma's new Black and Orange Papitz), but just a TON of customs including a rainbow selection of custom Papitz's, Skuttle and Skuttle X, Mao Cats, Masks and paintings!!

All of the custom Mao Cats below sold, but there a few custom Lucha Libre-style masks available for your Mao Cat at $140 each....













Touma's new sculp is called Papitz and you can lift up it's head to reveal it's teeth. Kinda cool! About half of these custom Papitz's are left at $150 each.





















Then Touma went all out and did these glitterati Papitz customs at a bling, bling price tag of $400 each!!













My favorite Touma sculp has to be the Skuttle. Touma customized a set of Skuttle and SkuttleX in a candy coated selection of colors. I'm a big fan and it killed me not to be able to pick up any of these beauties as they were only $135 each...



















Let's not forget the original artwork!! Touma continued the glitter theme in his paintings too. My favorite is this Knucklebear. The colors are rad, but it has a lot of texture to it as well.
