Max Factory is re-releasing their awesome die-cast Mazinkaiser in January. Why is this notable? Because it's awesome and I didn't get on the first time around. When I did check it out, I was thinking it's beautiful, but for $150, it doesn't really do anything. You know like transform or anything like that. Of course, it's not supposed to, but you know what I mean. For $150, you want more than a poseable toy. Now that i'm wiser, i'm ok with a very high quality, all die-cast toy for this amount. God knows there is a lot of shit out there for more $$.
I know you're reading this thinking what would be the perfect Christmas present for me? This is a good start. Will be around $150 when it comes out and I think well worth it given the heft of this mighty die-cast toy.
The giant wings and plethora of swords make this set worth it!
