What's up with TTF? Just a month before SDDC, there seems to be an awful lot of cool releases going on there...! I don't remember the last time a Tim Biskup Pollard Set has been released? Maybe never? Hell, when was the last time a mini Pollard was released? Although i'm not crazy about the colorway, when it comes to the mini Pollard, it doesn't really matter. It's one of the toys that is a must have regardless of colorway. I could pass on the Big Pollard, but I sure wouldn't mind the set given the opportunity. Looks to be another exclusive with Paradise Toyland and limited to only 100 sets?

Tim Biskup Chrome Mini Pollard!!!!

wow, Biskup is releasing a new mini Pollard. Our toy prayers have been answered!! or have they? $300 steel and chrome mini pollard?? hmmmmmmm, give me painted GID vinyl any day. Yes, we want more mini pollards, but not hood ornaments....

The original 4-inch tall vinyl Pollard figure was Tim's first toy. This chrome version is the first new version in over six years. It is cast in steel and chrome plated. The edition is limited to only 40 figures. Each one is number stamped on the base. The figure comes in a custom made wooden box with a signed and numbered 6-color serigraphed slide-top.

Bling Bling mini Pollard will be released on Friday, February 8th at noon Pacific Time at Flopdoodle above.

New Customs by LASH!!

Man, this is the season for customs! I think an artist or collector's desire to take a toy and make it entirely different and unique is catching on in Japanese vinyl. In my opinion, inevitable as I believe you will see many more artists customizing Japanese vinyl toys with more and more outlandish paint schemes, accessories, dioramas and the whole thing.

One of these artists, LASH continues to raise the bar with his artwork and customs. He recently painted a RealxHead Bigaro for the man behind RealxHead, Mori!!! You can see Mori's thumbs up in approval for LASH's work. Below are better pictures of one of my favorite RealxHead sculpts, the Bigaro:





Another favorite sculp is this Gargamel Smogon. Look closely, this monster is really a dump truck on a stack of tires! LASH made it look like the trash from the back of the dump truck is spewing out of it's front grill!









Another amazing Gargamel Sculp, called Gargadeath in a collaboration with band Napalm Death. I love this guy.







RealxHead Mutant Evil by LASH. This guy is called "Hand of Death" but from the looks of the color scheme, "Handful of Tutti Frutti". I love the eye-popping colors!





Lastly, check out this pair of large Biskup Pollards another collection commissioned LASH to do. Simply amazing.









Great job as usual LASH. Every sculp presented here are some of my favorites. My only regret is that I don't have one of your customs in this line up!!!!

Killer Dragons From the West Photo Report from Kaiju-Taro!!!

Those purveyors of fine Japanese vinyl, Kaiju-Taro come back from Gargamel's Thrash Out retail store with these amazing pictures from the "Killer Dragons From the West" show featuring Bwana Spoons and tim Biskup!!!



From what I understand there was a line around the block trying to cram into this tiny store to grab a piece of handpainted Gargamel goodness!! Highlights from the show included Bwana's new Eriagon Hedoran, handpainted Edward the Gators, Steven the Bats as well as Biskup's GID Pollards - one with chicken pox! They also released an amazing clear pink set featuring Biskup's Dragamel and Bwana's Killer!! Must have!! Lastly, we also get to see for the first time Bwana's full size Dragamel sculp in the silver flake vinyl!!

Tim Biskup's Vermillion Brother #2 Released on February 23rd!!

ok, guys, for those of you that might have been asleep at the switch all day when Brother #1 was releasd, you have a chance to get pretty much get the same figure in his twin Brother #2. I had to put the two pictures together to really see the paint differences. No fancy lip gloss on this brother, but a bit more eye-shade. Me? Gonna pass so you guys can get one and save my moolah for the next painted Pollard which will hopefully be based on the blue colorway!! Brother #2 will be released initially at the NY Comic Con, but will have a limited amount available online at Flopdoodle on February 23rd at 11am PST.

Big Pollard is the newest figure in Tim Biskup’s Alphabeast series. The 9” tall figure is made in Japan in one of the few Japanese factories that still make vinyl figures. This is the second factory painted version. It is limited to 250 and comes packaged in classic kaiju style in a brand new header card and printed bag. The figure was sculpted by Tim & cleaned up by Kiyoka Ikeda from Gargamel Toy Company.

Note: This figure is being released at our booth at New York Comic-Con (#339 - Listed as Huckleberry Toys, but it's really us!). The show runs from Friday, February 23rd to Sunday, the 25th. We will only be offering a handfull of the figures here online. "Vermillion Brother" #1 was released in January.
