Itokin Park One-Off Mikazukin
While were on the topic of Itokin Park, now is good a time as any to show off the One-Off Mikazukin I scored at the Itokin Park Show at Super 7 a couple of months ago. What makes this score so sweet is that I really wanted one of these Mikazukin "flag" customs when I first spied it at SDCC last year. Sadly, they were only 5 and sold by lottery. If the line and attendance of the Super 7 show is any indication, Itokin Park is becoming one of the most popular Japanese artists around.
The Mikazukin is my favorite Itokin Park character, yet I can't figure out why I like him so much. He's really much too cute for my collection and has these silly kewpie doll arms. But I think the simplicity and clean lines portray a deep coolness found in other toys by guys like Tim Biskup, Touma and Gargamel.

I really like the photography of this figure. With the dark background, the colorful contrast stand out and plus the figure reflection was real neat!
