3A HAROLD MK1 OTW + MIDAS: Sold OUT!!

Harold is growing on me. I like this red version. The way his head tilts gives him a bit more character. Kinda like WALL-E.

Unfortunately for all you Real Steel collectors, MIDAS was up and now it's SOLD OUT.

3A x REAL STEEL Next Up: MIDAS...!!!

Check out the next robot in the 3A x REAL STEEL line up: MIDAS...!! I think I like this design a bit better than Ambush. But I dunno. I'm still on the fence with these guys. They're expensive at $290 each, but also huge. 16" friggin inches. These guys will dominate your shelf. I still need to watch this movie...

3A REAL STEEL AMBUSH Coming!

ThreeA is very proud to announce the sale of AMBUSH from the film REAL STEEL, Ambush is a 1/6th fully articulated ( SUPER ARTICULATED ACTUALLY ).

The Articulation on Ambush is second to none, with countless moving parts, that faithfully mimic all the articulation from the film version. From pistons to sliding biceps, all the details are there! Ambush also features illuminated eyes for the low light photo op. ThreeA has spared nothing in making AMBUSH truly film authentic, we are carrying on the tradition of HYPER attention to detail that we started started with MGS REX, this same care will also be seen in our soon to be released HALO 1/6th line.

Ambush will be available to pre-order on April 17th, 9-00Am Hong Kong time at Bambaland for the pre 3AA discount price of $290USD (PRICE INCLUDES WORLDWIDE SHIPPING ). The Bambaland version also comes with the exclusive AMBUSH 1/6th controller!

We would also like to announce that our premiere distributors BBICN, Good Smile and Sideshow will be taking per-orders on May 1st. The SRP is USD 330, PLEASE TAKE NOTE, RETAIL VERSION DOES NOT COME WITH THE CONTROLLER.

3A x REAL STEEL AMBUSH Pre-Order April 16th at 5pm PDT

Pricing info coming soon. I like this design and robots are cool and all, but I guess since I haven't seen the movie, I'm not very attached to the character. Looks pretty detailed though. Maybe 3A should include a mini Wolverine figure...lol...

3A x REAL STEEL AMBUSH, the Comic Book Crusher

3A x Real Steel

Movie Toys are nothing new, but i'm conflicted when it comes to this new 3A x Real Steel line of figures. No doubt it looks great, but since I haven't seen the movie yet, I have no attachment. Movie toys are cool because right after you see the movie, you can go out and buy the toys at Target to re-enact your favorite battle scenes. That's fine if its a $15 toy, but when you're talking about a $150 toy, I think it's a bit different. I don't know... maybe i'm just an old geezer, but when I spend this kind of money on any toy, I want that attachment.

Real Steel Action Figures by Jakks Pacific

Wave 1: Atom V1, Zeus, Midas, Noisey Boy, Twin Cities

Here could be another case where the toys are more interesting than the movie. The movie in question is "Real Steel" starring Hugh Jackman where in the near future, robots have replaced humans in boxing.

These action figures by Jakks Pacific could be a sleeper hit. They have the potential to hit all the right spots...so to speak. From what I understand, they are articulated with magnetic ball and socket joints ala Micronauts. The limbs, body and head are all swappable making for endless variations. Daddy likes. They also have LED's inside to give them that extra robotic look. At $10 each, these could be the best deal coming. Target, here I come. Wave 1 ships in August.

Wave 2: Metro, Battle Damaged Zeus, Atom V2, Six Shooter, Ambus

Build and Battle Playset

WRB Main Event Ring Set

Also interesting are these Deluxe figures. Presumably bigger, more detailed and more expensive.

I like the rainbow junkyard guy
