Steven the Bat Purple Nights "Survivor" Tour at Super 7!!!

There is good news and there is great news! The good news is that Steven the Bat "Purple Nights" have survived and finally made it to Super7!! The great news is that there will also be free donuts!! No, the really great news is that Bwana Spoons will be on hand to sign and doodle on your newly purchased Bat as well!! This means that there is only one Bat left in the Quartet of battyness: Black Metal!! I hope that this last bat also survived in ample numbers to complete the set! See you at Super 7 at 11am sharp tomorrow!!

Pics From Kaiju Taro at the Gargamel Show in Japan!!

These pics came from Kaiju Taro and were from a Gargamel Show a ways back which showed the introduction of a couple of new mini figures including Biskup's Mini Doragamel. It is made from a special process mixing aluminum flakes into the clear vinyl. The sculp is awesome as you can see, but no one is quite sure when and how Biskup will be releasing this little bad boy. We have heard that it won't be released in Japan so hopefully that means more for us! The other cool Gargamel figure is the new Mini Smoggon which Very limited and only released at this show. Gargamel will be producing more of the Mini Smoggon, thank goodness, but in different colors. I only hope that they would include those RAD translucent colors on the figures sold at this year's San Diego Comic Con!

EVEN MORE MAOCATS @ Fewmany!!!

The very nice Yuki from TOUMART dropped me a note to let me know that the full Touma MAOCAT selection being sold at the FEWMANY show is online at FEWMANY. As you can see, there are 30+ versions of the white MAOCAT handpainted with various black and brown designs. Maybe Touma had a white cat with black and brown spots! Yuki also sent me more pictures of the incredible custom Masked Lucha Libre MAOCATS!!! If you want to order something, drop a note to: shop@fewmany.com. I did, and within 24 hours, the very kind Manabu from Fewmany said he would put one of the Rainy Day MAOCATS aside for me! Nice! You won't regret it!!

Ghost in the Shell Fans Rejoice!!!!

Ghost in the Shell fans can rejoice as there seems to be a bounty of GiTS toys coming out in December. We have action figures, kits, die-cast, vinyl, pull-back and mini-figures ready to be pre-ordered!!!





Scott and the salty, yet venerable crew from Hobby Link Japan were at hand at the Tokyo Hobby Show recently and snapped up these new pics of the previously mentioned Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Tachikoma Action Figures from Wave as well as some other GiTS toys. Due out in March, 2007, you will have to wait a bit for them to come out and then pay $45 each!! Also above, you see another kit from Wave which is meant to mimick the "Optical Camouflauge" stealth technology. You can get this little kit for around $20 from HLJ as well.









Fewture is getting oldskool on GiTS fans with this soft vinyl Tachikoma figure. Looks to be highly detailed. I suspect it's around 5-6 inches across. Due out in December for around $55 before overseas shipping.







Next up we have this Sah...weeeet mini figure set from Organic: Tachikoma Collection trading figure series features six different Tachikoma units as seen in the "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" anime series with ball-jointed limbs for each unit plus a bonus part for completing an Arm Suit figure. The lineup include Uchikoma, New Tachikoma, Tachikoma, Tachi Silver, Tachi Blue, Tachi Yellow, Arm Suit, plus a secret item to trade and collect. Also due out in December for around $51, this set has already been pre-ordered!! You know how we love them mini figures!! My only complaint is that although they are slightly different, you essentially are getting 3 versions of same blue Tachikoma. I'm also not digging the yellow utility Tachikoma. I am very interested in the green Uchikoma, the Silver Tachi and the bonus Arm Suit!!!





Lastly, we have this little pull-back toy which looks like it's meant for cats to chase around the kitchen. You pull it back and it scurrys across the floor all Tachikoma-like. Cool and cute.

Exclusive Super 7 + Real x Head Set Previews!!!

Last saturday, Super7 finally showed off their exclusive and signature clear orange and black Real x Head set. The good news is that the set looks sick! I like the clear orange and the black spray gives the figures a bit of depth. The bad news is that there potentially not enough sets for everyone that wants one. Super7 is holding a lottery with winners to be announced on December 2nd. The set will retail for $250 and include your four favorite Real x Head figures.

Super 7 x Secret Base: "Ghoul's Night Out" Bonus Figure Revealed!!!

Well, what a great close to another cool set from Super7 x Secret Base!!! As you can see above, the long awaited Bonus figure is this awesome all black Frankenghost with a very subtle orange trim. I would have to say definitely the coolest figure in the set with the Bagman a close second.
