BLObPUS x Yamomark Dissected Yamobazooka...!!

Thanks to an awesome Skullbrain boardmember, I have finally secured this amazing collaboration between BLObPUS and Yamomark. It's a dissected Yamobazooka painted with metallic blue, green, yellow, red sprays on the inside of clear vinyl. Because of the texture of the toy, this technique really shows off the sculp. I love the cut away chest and the vinyl guts that BLObPUS added. Silver pipe cleaners can be seen inside the bazooka. I'm usually not a big fan of lizards or dinosaurs, but this toy is amazing. Highly recommended.

I don't own one of these Yamomark Bazooka guys, but i've always wanted one. So when BLObPUS goes out and does a special collaboration, it's a sure fire hit. The toy already has the exposed rib cage going on, add the dissected treatment with the cut away chest and exposed guts and you have taken it one more level. Couple that with the awesome metallic blue, orange, gold, green sprays painted on the inside of the clear vinyl and you have something insane. These awesome pictures via jcat.

Lulubell Toys: Shooting Blanks with Yamomark...!!

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of you who supported our Japan Relief program last month with your posts and purchases! Many vendors came forward immediately with whatever stock they had on hand, or could make to donate, so we jumped at the chance to do what we could to generate relief funds.

The feedback and requests for more kaiju blanks was amazing! We were pretty excited about the program, and are now ready to roll it out in it's originally intended form. So, without further delay, we present: SHOOTING BLANKS!

Shooting Blanks from here forward is a program designed to get blank figures into the hands of the fans at nice prices, suitable for those may have always wanted to try their hand at customizing, or who just like the simplicity of seeing the sculpt in it's raw form.

Shooting Blanks will be a one week, open run pre-order, with no order maximums. They will always release on a Friday at Noon Pacific, and the order period will end the following Thursday at Noon Pacific. Primarily blanks will be offered in black and GID, but we will be tossing in other colors from time to time as well!

Our first Shooting Blanks release begins tomorrow, 4.8 at Noon pacific with good stuff from Yamomark!

What a Difference a Picture Makes: Lulubell Exclusive Yamomark King Kameppa

I've been waiting for a cool colorway of Yamomark's King Kameppa and when I first saw these pics of Lulubell's Exclusive version, I wasn't convinced. Even though Luke painted these himself, the pics were out of focus and the colors muted. Although Luke owns a fancy camera, he shot these pics with his iPhone. Sorry man, not the best way to sell your toys.

Luckily for both Amy and Luke, Johnny aka jcat posted these pictures on his flickr. I was blown away and worried that I had missed the release I was waiting for. When I realized it was the same Lulubell Exclusive, I had to go back and compare the photos as they look completely different. So I purchased one right on the spot. So did another collector. Just goes to show you that a good picture is the difference between a sale or no sale.

BLObPUS x Yamomark Blind Bags..!

Happy Hump Day friends!

Just a quick heads up to tell you that Yamomark x Blobpus are at it again with 2 new blind bagged 9" figures: Zariking (lobster monster) & Birabiran (flower/plant monster). They are both done on GID vinyl with a variety of sprays (more varieties than shown in the pictures will be in the blind bags we are told).

He usually keeps the details a surprise, but my best GUESS is it will be similar to the last series. (2 varients shown + several one-offs in the bags was what ended up being in the last release!)

Both are up for grabs as pre-orders now on the home page. (these pictures don't do them justice - these were truly AMAZING last time!)
