OUTER SPACEMAN Gary Schaeffer @ NYCC 2010
One of the unexpected highlights of NYCC 2010 was meeting Gary Schaeffer. Working closely with the creator Mel Birnkrant, Gary helped re-launch THE OUTER SPACE MEN back into our consciousness with a new Graphic Novel and a collaboration with The Four Horsemen and Onell Designs for a new set of action figures. It was a pleasure to meet him as well as take a ride in his time machine to see all of the wonderous OUTER SPACE MEN vintage toys and action figures he had on display. The new toys are cool, but it's really hard to hold a light to the original source material.

Microsexuals at NYCC 2010...!!
The Microsexuals were in the house at the Mimoboth booth spinning the tables as only they know how. It was cool, surreal and kinda creepy.

NYCC 2010 Day 1: Calm Before the Madness...
Sorry for the lag and lack of coverage over the weekend. Frankly, it was a blur. I'm still recovering. I'm sick, tons of work, tons of pics and video to process. Please bear with me...
Our Friday morning gets going after a red-eye flight. Not much sleep, but the weather is beautiful. I planned to do one of those traveling toy shots taking pictures of my custom S-Tainen by my buddy Dustin at different locales. Sadly, this was the first and only picture taken.
