Last Friday was Lucky Friday the 13th. Especially to anyone that got to check out the BLObPUS and Vatundoo Customer Art Contest opening at Dynamo in Tokyo. It looked like a great time and toybot studios is honored to participate. You might notice a few other familiar customs as well. Thank You BLObPUS and Vinyl Junkies..!!

Vinyl Junkies Vatundoo Custom Toy Show!!

Vinyl Junkies custom Vatundoo Toy Show opened last week and they were kind enough to send me shots of the show. Looked like an amazing event with some crazy custom Vatundoos...! I was honored to be invited to participate in the show, but as you can see, my kit bashing was no match for the artistry on display...! The master Paul Kaiju was also invited! The show was held at the now infamous Kaiju Blue Gallery which seems to be hosting all the cool toy shows of late! Thank You Vinyl Junkies!!

Vinyl Junkies Custom Vatundoo Show!!

This just in....Custom Vatundoo by Paul Kaiju

Vinyl Junkies is holding their own custom toy show featuring their quirky Vatundoo figure. Opening night is next Wednesday, April 15th at Kaiju Blue Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. I am honored to be invited and submitted this kit-bash below. Keeping with the Frankensteinian vibe going with the toy itself, I kit-bashed another Vinyl Junkies toy, the Skull Viking with it. Check out the Biskup interpretation above. Awesome. Looking forward to seeing more entries!
