Hell Hath Frozen Over. I Want These.

Well, not entirely true. I've always been a Huck Gee fan. I was impressed with his first Samurai Dunny custom 6 or 7 years ago? When they did the production run of 8" Samurai Dunny's, I tried to get the blue one with no success. So now we have a Dunny series of these guys. 13 characters in the same Samurai, Ninja universe. I'm down. I want these. All of them (geisha not so much). I could see myself getting a case. Who wants to split it with me? Due out September 1st.

Huck Gee x Fresh Manila: Aswang Puto

FreshManila is collaborating with Huck Gee once again for another Puto. That's right, Aswang Puto. It's dropping August 1st and will be a towering 16" tall. I say a bargain at $116 each. I think FreshManila makes the very best Huck Gee figures. Case in point, The first Puto. That thing is a work of art. Like an ancient Mayan relic Indiana Jones would be chasing after. If Aswang Puto is anything near the quality of the first Puto, we have a winner. It's the first Huck Gee figure i've wanted since...well the first Puto. Or maybe the Tunk....lol...

FreshManila is the first Designer Toy Shop in in Manila and they will be opening up a "Super Store" in October..!

Huck Gee "Puto" Bootleg!!!

Got this Huck Gee "Puto" Bootleg in a trade recently. This thing is pretty crazy when you have it in hand. It's really heavy!! I think it's made out of some kind of nutty resin, but it almost feels like solid granite! I dig the sculp and the detail on the wings are amazing. It's pretty big too. I believe around 10 inches or so...

Huck Gee Shogun Dunnys!!

Not really a fan of Dunny's but I do like some of Huck Gee's works. I wanted one of these custom Shogun Dunnys when they were $400 each last year, but my credit card wouldn't allow it. I'm glad I waited cause the kind folks at KR are making a nice production run. 300 of each color plus a two geishas shown above. $100 bones each being released on June 21st with the red version at KR and the blue version at select retail stores. From the sounds of things, this could be the all-time most popular Dunny! Now if only Huck would get KR to go production with those Tunks!!!
