Custom 3A Armstrong "SWAT O.U.B." by Halfbad Toyz

Check out this cool custom 3A WWRp Armstrong SWAT O.U.B. by Adam over at Halfbad Toyz. I like all the mods, accessories and paint scheme.

Custom painted and kitbashed WWRp. This Armstrong bot has been painted to a high level of detail that matches the factory paint of 3A bots very well. His long machine gun has been shortened into a submachine gun, with a subdued repaint and wooden grip. Clip is still removable. His knife has been weathered perfectly, for those times you have to get up close and personal. His entry bar and riot shield help him in close quarters defense, and double as great tools to smash his enemies domes in. His jump-pack has been replaced with a backpack, repainted to fit the scheme. It is removable, so you can add your own jump-pack again if you like.

Rivet Wars...!!!

I first learned about Rivet Wars a few weeks ago via Phil's awesome battlegrip.com. Now you can buy this little resin Vert Tank for only $15 plus shipping. Assemble a Tank Division..!

What is Rivet Wars all about?

Rivet Wars is a context in which to make toys, art, stories and stuff. This really got rolling when I posted a sketch of a tank/robot in the toybreak forums. Something about the tank I drew made me think that it needed a world to live in, someone to drive it, and someone for the tank to fight. I soon realized that I'd been drawing these things my whole life but now all those disparate ideas could find a focus in Rivet Wars.

I had begun to see that people online were making their own toys, their own graphic novels...their own stuff. So why not make my own toy of this tank? And some paintings, and maybe a poster, and some short stories and maybe a website...and so here we are. I really have no idea where this will go but I do know that I'm excited about it and I hope that others will get excited as well. A few quick shots. More to come. Love this guy. Wonderful paint application. Small figure. Insane detail. Only four inches tall or so. Really nice. Half Bad Toyz are dropping this dude in every kind of high tech resin there is: color changing, translucent glitter, GID, etc. Check it out.

After much anticipation, Skekiltor is finally here!

He is the first in a series of ten in our "FOEZ" line. We were inspired by 80's toy lines like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Halfbad Toyz FOEZ Line of 80's Inspired Action Figures. Sculpted by Steven Platt aka oOMoSOo

Just caught site of this interesting 4" resin monster sculpted by Steven Platt aka oOMoSOo for the FOEZ line of 80's inspired action figures coming out by underground toy producer Halfbad Toyz. While anyone that uses a "z" in place of an "s" is suspect, this line and in particular this figure looks very promising. If the paint application is anything like their TMNT customs, i'm IN..!
