Leecifer x Paul Kaiju: Bat Butts & Goat Guts + Picklebaby @ Dragatomi

Good news.. Paul Kaij and Leecifer will be the Bay Area for a new show at Dragatomi..!  This will also be the debut of Lee's new resin figure "Picklebaby".  It's weird, grotesque and pretty cool. just like Lee..!   Of course, i'm digging the blue one. might need to head up there.

PickleBaby came five hundred gazillion light years to give you a hug and perhaps an anal probe, but look how damn cute he is! Standing 8.25" at the back of the head, w/ magnetic articulation at arms and neck, the injured alien fashioned a body out of the first Earthly organic matter he came in contact w/, namely the abandoned cucumber patch he crashed in and the bones of the hapless pickle farmer buried there. Leecifer's PickleBabies are landing w/ an exclusive run (more details to come) and many one-offs at Dragatomi this Halloween Season for the "Bat Butts & Goat Guts" Show opening Sat Oct 13th. I'll have a variety of other customs toys and other artwork as well.

"Year of the Dragon" opens Saturday at Dragatomi

Well… we now know that 2012 is the Year of the Dragon. With that said we at Dragatomi wanted to celebrate it - Opening this Saturday Feb. 11th is our “Year of the Dragon” Group art show.

This show features work by a number of talented artists which include: Jared Konopitski, Carson Catlin, Daniel Fleres, Gatchabert, KingQuan, Jeremiah Ketner, Chris Ryniak, John "Spanky" Stokes, Jay222 , DrilOne, Leecifer, Jackie Gallagher, Helena Garcia, Betso, Chauskoskis, LilJapan, PodgyPanda, Skinner, Philip Lumbang, Ritzy Periwinkle, J*RYU, and Valleydweller

This is an open platform show, which allowed the artists to choose any medium for their pieces with only a dragon being the base of the subject matter. We feel all the pieces of the show are amazing and we invite you to come see them in person. There is a diverse amount of 2D and 3D work which really show off the artist’s skills in their interpretation of this legendary creature.

“Year of the Dragon” Opens this Saturday February 11th at 7 pm. All pieces will be on display until March 3rd 2012.

Drilone "Greetings from Hell" Solo Show @ Dragatomi This Saturday..!!!!

Drilone and Dragatomi brings you “Greetings from Hell” A solo exhibit of the same title.

As an artist, Drilone has mastered the art of elemental wear and corrosion to the point that you question, “How did you do that?” Although he is not the first to master this style, Mother Nature is also proficient at this, but the difference is, what takes Mother Nature 20 years to do, Drilone can perform in a matter of days.



Drilone is not afraid to apply his skilled technique to any type of platform, from vinyl to wood, to just about any type of material. Someone once told him that titanium doesn’t rust, and his response to that was neither does plastic or vinyl.

DrilOne has pulled out all the stops for his upcoming solo show . His works will feature his rusty style on several different platforms - from 3” and 8” Dunnys, to a 16” Custom Toyer Qee, to a custom antique inspired sign to even a vintage radio. So many awesome pieces will be available!!

Hiro Hiyashi aka Lil Japan for Monster Party at Dragatomi

The next time I get the chance to name a Japanese character in a movie, anime, video game, etc., it will be Hiro Hiyashi. Not only does it sound bad ass, but the real Hiro Hiyashi is a super cool dude. Evidenced by his art for the Monster Party Show at Dragatomi this weekend in Sacto.

Me Gaeru and his pet Koi

His name is Me Gaeru. He is a one eyed mutated frog that is the last of his kind. He has been thru a lot of shit.loss of family and friends. Being hunted down because he is rare,hence the bullet shells, and just being alone. But then he met a koi fish that was super attached to Me Gaeru's eye that he never leaves his side. So now wherever he goes, he is on the bacl of his pet koi fish and is having the ride of his life. The koi gave him the stregth to live his life again in peace.
