Cure x Secret Base Bagman Set

A couple of months ago, I posted that Secret Base was releasing three Bagman sets with two other retailers: Cure and A.Dore. I was able to score the Cure set and I definitely think it's the best set of the three. I'm digging the two next head sculps as well.

Thanks P*J !

Three New Exclusive Bagman Sets w/ New Head Sculps!

Secret Base continues the recent upswing in releases with these two sets of Bagman. The day-glo set above is a Cure Toys exclusive and unfortunately not available for overseas orders. You gotta love the new "Madball" head sculps and plushie inserts.

UPDATE: Didn't realize that Japanese online street wear retailer A.dore also have an exclusive Bagman colorway set too! Thanks for the heads up Kaz!!

This set is available for overseas orders from the Secret Base site for 4,200 Yen each not icluding shipping. That's around $42 USD.

Yikes! While I like Bagman just as much as the next guy, this is six (6) variants dropped all at the same time!! So a quick calculation for you completists out there: $42 x 6 plus shipping from three locations = $312...! that's a lot of money and this assumes retail price... I weep for the Bagman completists out there.

I still like the Cure versions the best. Must be that fade on the bag....nice!

Voodoo Cause You Can Do...

Super7 X Secret Base Voodoo Bagman. #2 in the series. Definitely my favorite of the two released so far. This series is shaping up quite nicely. Looking forward to next month's release!!

Secret Base x Super 7 Voodoo #2: Bagman!!!

The 2nd figure in Super7 x Secret Base new Voodoo Series is HERE!! Behold the Voodoo Bagman!! I'm digging this guy a whole lot. Great colorway and nice fade. The red plushie inside really turned out fantastic.

This little dude is gonna get released this Saturday at 11am at Super 7. Be there or be square!!

Here he is next to Skullbrain Voodoo #1. Thanks for the pic Scary Andy!!

Two More Secret Base x Shocker x Balzac Bagman!!!

One of these you can have (maybe) and one that you cannot have (unless you're willing to fork out some serious dinero). Right on the heels of the insane super limited release of the Bloody Bagman with megaphone from Shocker Europe which literally brought their servers to their knees as only thirteen (13) of these sets which came with a T-shirt were released (see pic below), Shocker World Wide answers the call with their own version of the Bagman. This time black body with red skeleton and white bag. Awesome! And for those of you that are gluttons for punishment, there will be six (6) in a ultra, mega, unfathomable limited edition with BLUE blood splatter which looks amazing as you can see. A total of fifty (50) figures will be released, but the T-shirt is separate.

Here's a pic of the Shocker-EU set which got so many hits to get the "Secret Password" in order to order the set first come; first serve, that we literally broke their web servers. It was like the last Kaws online sale all over again! ack!

The other Bagman that was released recently is this all black version which legend holds was just released at the Shocker Retail store in Osaka only. Very rare and the first two that were sold on Yahoo Japan Auctions the other day went for close to $400 USD each!! There is one with a Buy It Now price of 25,000 yen which is just under $250 USD! It's making the first Buy It Now auction of this figure of 13,800 yen or just under $140 USD look pretty good right about now. I was willing to go maybe $125 max, but with this Shocker World Wide version above, i'm happy just to go for that one!

I say more Bagman!!! Bring it on!!!

Shocker x Secret Base x Balzac Bust Out with Two New Exclusives!!!

From Balzac308.com:

Shocker Europe is teaming up with Balzac and Secret Base to release one of the most limited edition toy and t-shirt sets ever! There are only 26 sets that will be made available around the middle of March! 13 sets will be available through the SEU online shop, and the remaining 13 will only be available to those in attendance at a special SEU Event on April 6th in Hamburg, Germany. For more details on this event, check out the EU Tour 2007 HP. The SkullBxBxB toy comes is black with grey bone print, red blood splattered, and comes with an extra special megaphone (also soaked to the core in gory blood!!). Of course, the toy comes sealed with a kick-ass header card. As a bonus, a special T-Shirt showing off the coolSecret Base toy, is included in the set! Watch out for this appearing soon at SxExU! You won't want to miss it. The set will retail for €79.

oh, man!!! I love that blood splatter! That's thirteen (13) sets for me and the rest of you Secret Base / Balzac fanatics!! Were talking riot situation here! Well hopefully Doylewolf from Shocker EU will figure out something semi-fair that gives all of us a shot at getting one of these sick sets! I'm not opposed to waking up at 3am and camping out in front of my computer again for the stroke of midnight in Germany to get my grubby paws on this release!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE BAGMAN!!! Just maybe not for you...

This exclusive Bagman will even be more difficult to get as it will only be available on Balzac's European "Paranoid Dream of Darkness" Tour.

Damn European's getting all the Bagman love!!
